About me
Art has always been a huge interest of mine and whether it be from painting, photography or photo manipulation I always have a project on the go to keep myself busy and to continue practising and refining my techniques. Through GCSE Art, A Level Art and Photography, internet tutorials and just self experimenting I have built up a wide knowledge of skills that I am constantly trying to improve. I have a particular interest in using Photoshop to create images or enhance photos that I have taken because I love being able to manipulate the reality of a photograph and transform it into a world of my own. I know that continuing with this course at university will give me many more options to explore.
I am also extremely excited to be a part of the GNU AGB project which is a nationwide project where I have been asked to create a visual response to an image without the use of words, it will be part of the exhibition along with the rest of my class in the project. The project has been a fun experience and has helped build on my skills further.
The images I have included in this portfolio show a variety of media from drawing to photography and Photoshop work. I feel it shows the progression of my work into more advanced techniques and is forever improving.
I believe doing this course at university will only continue to increase my passion for art and help me get where I want to be in life and with my effort and determination achieve my dream career.
